extra SPARKLE. Then throw in pull-switch selectable BOOST mode for more
gain options AND a pull-switch selectable "No-Negative-FeedBack"
mode for the option of more overall power amp attack. The FRENZEL ELECTRONICS BluTone 50 is a point-to-point hand-wired 50 watt all tube guitar amplifier with special features including a BOOST mode for higher gain overdrive tones, and a unique "EDGE" switch that transforms the power amp section into a "No-Negative-FeedBack" style amp. In NORMAL mode, you can dial in a wide range of superb clean tones and distinctive crunch tones well suited for anything from classic rock to jazz to country depending on your GAIN settings. With the BOOST mode enabled, you're ready to rock some seriously overdriven rhythms and screaming leads while still being able to back off your guitar's volume control to clean things up a bit when needed. If you need even higher gain "modern rock" tones, throw an overdrive in front of your BluTone 50 and it will accommodate nicely. The "EDGE" switch on the PRESENCE control gives you an option of more overall attack from the power amp. This works well for getting a "louder" sound at lower volumes, or even at all times if you prefer more pick attack and articulation to be present in your tone. Superb clean tones to distinctive crunch tones to searing overdrive! Think hot-rodded ‘tweed’ with a hi-fidelity back end. From warm and smooth, to brilliant and jangly, to crunchy with just a little sizzle and edge, to screaming lead tones. All with enough POWER to reach out and tickle the hair on the folks in the back of the room! Great tone either all by itself, or as a bed to add pedals to for all of you stomp-box lovers. The BluTone 50 comes standard as a single channel amp with pull-switch selectable BOOST mode. A two channel version with separate footswitchable GAIN and master LEVEL controls for the NORMAL and BOOST modes (footswitch included) and a true-bypass serial effects loop with a SEND LEVEL control is available as an upgrade.

Bog**r Ec**acy 101B the BluTone is more complex and harmonically rich in its tones, both clean and overdriven. Yes the 101B has more overdrive and distortion and by itself covers a much broader range of tones. But they are lack luster compared to the tones the BluTone puts out. And once you put the "right" pedals in front if it, it'll do the harder driven tones better. After playing Frenzels it is hard to go back to my
