Description

The FRENZEL OD-40 is simply a no nonsense tube guitar amp with killer tone! This is a straight-forward single channel point-to-point hand-wired amp that will produce everything from sweet cleans to screaming overdrive tones. Great warm, complex tube tones with no need for any effects, but absolutely loves pedals as well.

• Slick gloss black control panels, black aluminum knobs, and a tough 1/4" thick tinted "plexi" acrylic front panel that allows you to see the cool tube glow.

• Genuine Tolex® covered 13-ply birch hand-made head cabinet with a heavy duty handle, rubber feet, and chrome corners.

Tech Notes

• True point-to-point hand wired using terminal strips (no PCBs or turret/eyelet boards) for the highest quality and shortest possible signal path. 

• Input/output jacks isolated from chassis, DC on the filaments, and FRENZEL proprietary component layout design and star grounding system for virtually no hum or noise.

• Built using only the finest of parts including low noise polypropylene caps, metal film resistors, ceramic sockets, Switchcraft jacks, etc.
