Think "Tweed" 5F6A Bassman, but with EL34s instead of 5881s, a MASTER volume, and a little extra SPARKLE. Then throw in pull-switch selectable BOOST mode for more gain options AND a pull-switch selectable "No-Negative-FeedBack" mode for the option of more overall power amp attack.

Take a "Blackface" AB763, gut the reverb and vibrato, and wire up channel 2 more like a super HOT-RODDED "800" style amp. Then add relay-driven CHANNEL SWITCHING and dual footswitchable DRIVE and master LEVEL controls on channel 2 and hook it all up to a HiFi grade power amp section.

OD-40

No nonsense point-to-point hand-wired single channel tube guitar amp with killer tone! Sweet cleans to screaming overdrive. Great warm, complex tube tones with no need for any effects, but absolutely loves pedals as well.

Think warmed-up/hot-rodded "800" style amp with enough gain for screaming leads and rhythms, but that will also clean up nicely at lower gain settings or when you back off your guitar's volume control.

Custom hand-wired 2 channel tube guitar amp! Everything from SWEET VINTAGE CLEAN, to WARM OVERDRIVE, to SCREAMING LEAD TONES.

Take the OD-40, give it a some more power/headroom, and add a "Tweed" inspired channel for super sweet clean to warm overdrive tones.
