Compared to my
Bog**r Ec**acy 101B the BluTone is more complex and harmonically rich in its tones, both clean and overdriven. Yes the 101B has more overdrive and distortion and by itself covers a much broader range of tones. But they are lack luster compared to the tones the BluTone puts out. And once you put the "right" pedals in front if it, it'll do the harder driven tones better. After playing Frenzels it is hard to go back to my
Bog**r. It stomps all over the tone of my V*T Classic, 50ST and 50CL as well."

Just to let you know that the BluTone Arrived at the weekend and the Tone Tubbies came yesterday. Well, what can I say..... To start with the BluTone is out of this world!
I tried it out using a M******l speaker and was blown away by the sound! You can hear everything and the gain is thick and chunky, but I couldn't get much volume out of it at home as it was too damn loud! When I got the Tubbies I took it to band practice and stood it vertical with the BluTone on top which looks amazing and cranked it for the first with my mates around listening, you should of seen their jaws drop, it was quite a picture. The best guitar sound I have ever heard flooded the room, loads of lows, loads of mids, loads of highs, perfectly balanced and what was even better is how the speaker doesn't hurt your ears and still cuts the drums in half. When you crank up the master the sound just gets huger and huger and you just can't turn it up too loud, it is amazing!! It's ace when you switch off the lights in the room and watch the tubes glow!
All I can say Jim is thank you x 1,000,000! The reason why I started playing guitar was for this sound. It is a true work of genius and I feel very proud to be the owner of such an amazing amp. I can't wait to play it at a gig, it has improved our band sound as well which is a major bonus. I couldn't get the grin of my face whilst playing it and it's all I'm thinking about when I'm at work. Can't wait to show it around to people, they will all be really impressed!!
